I’m Oriana Sparks, and I teach organizations, individuals and teams how to use calm as a strategic leadership advantage—not a nice-to-have, but a core performance driver. In a culture that rewards urgency, overthinking, and constant reaction, most workplaces are running on adrenaline instead of intention. That’s where things start to break: communication gets messy, decision-making gets emotional, and your best people quietly burn out. Calm leadership changes that. When leaders know how to regulate their nervous systems under pressure, they don’t just “cope” better, they think clearer, listen deeper, and respond instead of react. Teams feel safer, conflicts de-escalate faster, and trust stops being a buzzword and starts becoming a lived experience.

In 2018 I became a widow just 11 days after giving birth, leaving me a single Mom of 3 under 5. For years to come I was overwhelmed, overstimulated, underslept and stressed-out. Grief became my teacher and Mindfulness became my tool for transformation.
